In October 2019, Perm hosted PROSVET, a city-wide festival of light that transformed some of the city's most recognizable landmarks through audiovisual art and projection mapping.
Pitch created the concept and original audiovisual content for a large-scale projection mapping show on the façade of the Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre, turning the historic building into a dynamic storytelling surface.
The festival program also featured installations at other iconic locations, including the Shpagin Plant, the television tower, the Ferris wheel and the Kungur Ice Cave.

Develop the creative concept and produce original audiovisual content for a large-scale projection mapping show on the façade of the Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The creative concept explored the cultural symbolism, scientific history and emotional power of light.
Working closely with the theatre's architecture, we transformed the building into an immersive projection canvas. The audience travelled through myths, scientific discoveries and contemporary interpretations of light.
Throughout the performance, rays, waves and particles became the central characters of a visual narrative connecting folklore, physics and modern technology.

The visual narrative combined scenes inspired by local folklore, traditional Perm ornamentation, Newton's prism and references to ballet. These elements paid tribute to the city's cultural identity while responding directly to the architecture of the theatre.
A voice-over connected the individual chapters into a coherent story. An original soundtrack and a custom lighting score were created specifically for the performance.
