The first and only scientific and technical museum in Russia about cryptography, secret communication technologies, mathematics and related disciplines.
The museum is located in the historic building commonly informally known as "Sharashka in Marfino", also known as Research Institute-2 or "Object Number 8", where Soviet scientists developed equipment for encrypting telephone communications.

To design a multimedia complex, create audiovisual content, develop interactive apps in Russian (including dubbing in sign language) and English, to carry out installation, commissioning and configuration of multimedia equipment.

In addition to a unique historical collection of encryption technology, information transmission media and archival documents, the main exhibition features more than 130 interactive and kinetic installations, several dozen educational game exhibits and a large amount of multimedia content.

One of the largest objects of the museum is an installation dedicated to the legendary encryption machine "Violet" (M-125), invented in the USSR after The Second World War. Until the beginning of the 21st century, all information about the "Violet" was top secret.

Interactive installations make up a significant part of the exposition of the hall dedicated to modernity. For example, an installation about blockchain technology will allow a visitor to take his own photo with an AR mask and create an NFT token from it. In a room with stylized arcade slot machines, visitors will learn how to choose a password that is difficult to crack, and with the help of VR technologies they will be able to immerse themselves in the world of the future.

The work was carried out in close cooperation with scientific consultants of the museum and experts from the Kryptonite research and production company (part of X Holding).
